Sponsorships and Donations
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about donating to God Answers Prayers Assisted Living Facility. We are a small non-profit 501(c)3 that will house 6 residents. The resident to caregiver ratio is 6 to 1, where we can specialize in the close observation of our residents allowing our employees to notice the smallest of changes in their behaviors. Our facility is a renovated residential home offering a family atmosphere that is a perfect setting for easy transition from their home to ours or for seniors battling memory loss who may need a calming peaceful environment.
Our goal is to renovate another home that will also house 6 residents all having private rooms. Your generous donation will help us to get this project started.
Due to the fact that not many programs help today’s struggling seniors to pay for the care they need we would also like to be able to subsidize income for seniors who we call the “in-betweeners”. These are the seniors who can’t afford the high cost of senior living today, they make too much for Medicaid and do not qualify for Veteran’s Aid and Attendance. Your donation today will help our seniors tomorrow.
Unfortunately, there are only a few options available to assist seniors in paying for assisted living care.Click Here for more
(1). Long term care insurance – Insurance that was previously purchased through a private insurance company. It helps pay for medical care services or room and board in the event of a lengthy disability, however this is not a quick fix and something that would have been purchased early on.
2). Veteran’s Aid and Attendance – The department of Veteran’s Affairs offers assistance to a war-time veteran or surviving spouse that needs assistance of another person to perform activities of daily living, being blind, mental or physical incapacity or residing in an assisted living also qualifies for the Veteran’s Aid special pension.
3). State Wide Medicaid Managed Care Program – Medicaid recipients who qualify and become enrolled in the Statewide Medicaid Managed Care – Long Term Care Program will receive long-term care services from a long term care provider which can assist with services in an assisted living facility.
4). Private pay – Income received from Social Security, Pensions or Retirement Savings to cover all expenses including room & board and services in an assisted living.
Our goals are to help seniors live out the rest of their days with as much pride and dignity as possible.
